Supporting People

Supporting People is a government programme that aims to help people live more independently and to maintain their accommodation by funding organisations to provide housing related support.  A wide range of vulnerable people receive support from Supporting People funded services including people with mental ill health, people with learning disabilities, homeless people and families, young people, teenage parents, people with drug or alcohol problems, people at risk of domestic abuse, travellers, and ex offenders or people at risk of offending.

 

LIDAS’s Refuges and Outreach Support Service receive support to deliver these accommodation based services from Supporting People. These services are monitored and quality assessed by Lincolnshire Supporting People.
